FODE Beon Study Center is offering FODE programs for Grades 7 – 12 using the National Department of Education curriculum.
FODE (Flexible, Open & Distance Education) is a program designed by the PNG Department of Education to give opportunities, as well as second chance, to the marginalized and less-privileged Papua New Guineans.
Access to quality education is an issue in PNG and the FODE program attempts to close the gap between quality education and access to it.
Our FODE study program is coordinated at FODE Beon Study Center.
FODE E-Learning program
At Foreign Service Institute (FSI), we partner with the National Department of Education to extending the FODE program through E-Learning.
Students can graduate with a Grade 8, 10 and 12 Certificate after successful completion.
The curriculum is the same as what is being taught at normal system schools in PNG and the certification is also the same as what is being issued by the Department of Education.
All students fees at FODE are covered by TFF (Tuition Fee Free) policy. Students are required only to pay the registration fee of K75.
We are having an Information session, Entry Test and Registration in early November, 2019. This is in preparation for the Semester One, 2020.
